Fees for language Learning Programmes

All courses are designed to suit the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR) and the curriculum matches the FOUR first levels of this Framework :

• A1 for Beginners
• A2 for Intermediate
• B1 for Independent
• B2 for Advanced.

• Beginner A1 level corresponds to a 100 credits of language learning (75 hours)
• Intermediate A2 to another 150 credits of learning (112.5 hours)
• Independent B1 to yet another 200 credits of learning (150 hours)
• Advanced B2 to an extra 300 credits of learning (225 hours).

It therefore takes 750 credits of learning (562.5 hours) to go through the whole curriculum , which ever programme you choose to follow.

You can select anyone of the three regular programmes we offer for Amharic, English and French, depending on your availability and learning strategy. It will take you to accomplish the whole cycle :

• 30 MONTHS in the Extensive Courses Programme (EC)
• 15 MONTHS in the Intensive Courses Programme (IC)
• 7.5 MONTHS in the Very Intensive Courses Programme (VIC)

Depending on your yearly schedule and on opening of classes, you can choose to skip one or several months and join back in the programme at your convenience. However, we strongly advise to try and follow as regularly as possible. Special packages are only available for those who do so.

Placement tests will allow you to join immediately the appropriate class depending on your level. Cost : ETB 50.
